Top Gun: Maverick, Stranger Things and The Last of Us are top nominees for MTV Movie and Television Awards with six nominations each. The White Lotus and Wednesday follow with four nominations each.
Jersey Shore Family Vacation, RuPaul Drag Racing, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules All tied with the Unscripted category with two nominations each.
First-time MTV Movie & TV Award nominees include Austin Butler, Bad Bunny, Beatrice Grannò, Bella Ramsey, Cara Delevingne, Courteney Cox, Florence Pugh, Harry Styles,
Jamie Campbell Bower, Jennifer Coolidge, Joseph Quinn , Justin Long, Kirk Palmer, Madison Bailey, Maya Hawke, Quinta Brunson, Riley Keough, Rudy Pankow and Simona Tabasco.
There are two new categories for this year’s show: Best Reality On-Screen Team and Best Kick-Ass Actor, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Outer Banks, Stranger Things and Teen Wolf: The Movie are nominated for their ensemble cast.
Until April , fans can have Vote for their favorite movies, TV shows, moments and actors from both scripted and unscripted projects. The show will be broadcast live from the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles on May 7 at 8:00 pm ET. It will air on international MTV in over 10 countries.
Drew Barrymore will host the show. Throughout her career, the talk show host has been nominated for 10 MTV Movie and Television Awards and won Grand Prize Three golden popcorns – two with scripted category and one without scripted category.
