Olympic gold medalist Sarah Nurse and Anaheim Ducks breakout star Trevor Zeglass are NHL 23 ‘s cover athlete.

Zeglas was drafted 9th overall by the Ducks in 2019, and he Made his NHL debut in the second half of the 2020-21 season. He showed great potential with 13 points in 24 games. After being named to Anaheim’s Opening Night roster for 2021-22 season, Zegras established made its own face as a franchise. The 21-year-old led the team with 38 assists and finished second with 23 goals and 61 points in 75 games. Zegras was selected to the Rookie Team of the Year and was second only to Detroit in Calder Trophy voting Red Wings guard Moritz Seider. Nurse’s historic performance represented the Canadian women’s national team at the Beijing Olympics. Her 18 points and 13 assists were the most in a single women’s tournament. NHL 23 will mark the first EA Sports since 2003 to have multiple cover athlete. This will be the 32nd installment in a long-running franchise dating back to 1991.
Full disclosure of the game is expected on Thursday. It will be released on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series S.
