Angels superstar Mike Trout was activated from the injured list ahead of Friday’s series opener against the Tigers. To make room, outfielder Steven Daga was drafted into Triple-A Salt Lake City after Wednesday’s game.
Trout out since July 12 with upper back/left rib injury , who faced live pitching on Monday after batting practice on the field over the weekend. He had a scheduled rest day on Tuesday and said he would be activated if all went well with his workout on Wednesday.
