'True Detective' Creator Nic Pizzolatto Sets Up Westerns at Amazon (Exclusive)

Sources say the untitled show is fast-tracking as anchors seek out their version of “Yellowstone.”

Yellowstone Park Effect reached Amazon .

Retail giant/streamer is working with Cooperation with True Detective Creator Nic Pizzolatto An untitled western drama.

Amazon Western marks Pizzolatto’s exit from his Nic Pizzolatto first project since his preferred deal with Disney’s FX and Touchstone Television in January . At the time, Pizzolatto had two years left on his deal After Redeemer sold to FX. The show has a script-to-series promise, reuniting Pizzolatto with Matthew McConaughey after True Detective. Emmy nominee Pizzolatto helmed the series for its first three seasons, which has also received numerous accolades from the Television Academy. Pizzolatto is represented by WME, Anonymous Content and Goodman Genow.
