TV ratings: Emmys drop to all-time low (again)

Emmys ratings have dropped to an all-time low for the third time in the past four years.

NBC broadcast average score for the 74 Primetime Emmy Awards 5.92 million viewers, falling below the 6 million mark for the first time. The previous low was at 74, when 6. 36 million people watched ABC TV.

Monday’s show averaged 1.09 Adult Rating 11-36, an all-time low for the Emmys.

Last year’s Emmys, which aired on CBS, reversed two years of all-time lows. The broadcast attracted 7.74 million viewers and 1. 74 rated at 74 -36 Demographics, since 2018. Monday’s show slipped by about 16% in audiences, close to 24 in percent -36 Demographics.

HBO’s White Lotus

is the big winner at Monday’s ceremony, taking home five awards, including best limited or anthology series (it picked up five more at the Creative Arts Awards in early September). HBO’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, also has 40 Top Rank Total Awards , over runner-up Netflix.

Quad network debut of Monday Night Football season – spanning ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes – Delivery 11. 84 million viewers, up to 36 percentage from 11. 92 MILLIONS FOR THE 2018 UNVEILING OF THE franchise war. Its win over the Emmys was much bigger than the last time they went against each other in 2018: That night, ESPN’s football telecast averaged 11.40 million viewers to 09.18 Emmys for NBC Awards.

Monday Night Football cumulative viewership is the largest in several years. ABC has about 300,000 of those viewers and ESPN is less than 8 million; “Manningcast” on ESPN2 and Spanish-language broadcasts on ESPN Deportes accounted for the rest.
