Uber Rewards program to close later this year

If you’re an Uber user and take advantage of the app’s Uber Rewards loyalty program, you better run out of points: the program is ending soon.

In an email to Saturday, the company said the free program will soon end as Uber turns its attention to its paid Uber One membership service.

“At the end of the month,” the email said. “There’s still time to get all the rewards you’ve earned: just use your points until October 31.”

A post on Uber’s help site says the program will Ends November 1, and points can be redeemed until midnight local time on October 31.

Uber Rewards, launched in 2018, lets users earn points for every dollar they spend on Uber rides or Uber Eats
