The Octagon invades Salt Lake City for tonight’s UFC 278, a fight by Kamaru Uth Kamaru Usman vs. Kamaru Usman’s twelve-round fight card. Leon Edwards 2.
Usman (20-1 MMA) and Edwards (19-3 MMA) will collide for the second time tonight, but this time the UFC hit The heavyweight title will be up for grabs.
The two first met in December 2015, and the “Nigerian Nightmare” won by unanimous decision. Since then, Kamaru Usman has won 13 straight fights while holding the UFC welterweight title and defending his title five times in a row in the process.
Meanwhile, Leon Edwards has gone 9-0 without a game since suffering a setback from Usman in 2015. The Birmingham native defeated Nate Diaz by unanimous decision in his most recent effort at UFC 263.

UFC 278 co-led by highly anticipated middleweight showdown, ex Division champ Luke Rockhold faces a terrifying knockout artist Paulo Costa.
Rockhold (16-5 MMA) will end a three-year hiatus when he plays in the Octagon tonight. The California native will be looking to break a two-game losing streak after suffering knockout losses to Jan Blachowicz and Yoel Romero in the latest effort.
Meanwhile, Paul Costa (13-2 MMA) will also enter UFC 278, hoping to end a two-game losing streak. “Eraser” came out on top in a decision loss to Marvin Vitori, after losing to Israel Adesanya in his fight to advance to the middleweight title.

Tonight’s main card also has a much-anticipated young man Level match, the two sides are Jose Aldo and Merab Dvalishvili.
Aldo (31-7 MMA) will enter the tournament on a three-game winning streak, following decisive victories over Marlon Vera, Pedro Munhoz and Rob Font. The MMA legend has gone 3-2 since entering the bantamweight division.
Meanwhile, Merab Dvalishvili (14-4 MMA) enters UFC 278 on a seven-game winning streak, most recently in a victory over Marlon Moraes in TKO . Before that, The Machine had won six games in a row.
