SALT LAKE CITY – After a lot of wrangling in the media, Paul Costa and Luke Rockhold finally met in person at Thursday’s UFC 278 pre-fight press conference .
Both fighters are in the middleweight co-main event desperately in need of a win, along with fighters from Costa (13-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) and Rockhall De (16-5 MMA, 6-4 UFC) succeeded in his first stare after taking questions from the media.

Costa is in the fight with back-to-back losses, which comes after an unbeaten streak to start his career. He will attempt to take on former UFC and Strikeforce champion Rockhold, who has not fought since July 2019 and is chasing his first win in nearly five years.
