LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie is live covering Friday’s official UFC 279 fighter weigh-in, which begins at noon ET (9 a.m. PT).
EARLY WEIGHT-INS will be in Las Vegas ahead of the fan weigh-in ceremony at 4pm ET at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas held at the UFC host hotel. The nearby T-Mobile Arena hosts Saturday’s event, which has a pay-per-view main card following ESPNews’ preliminaries and ESPN+’s early preliminaries.
Among them were Khamzat Chimaev (11-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and Nate Diaz (20-13 MMA, 15-11 UFC), who met in the welterweight main event, Former interim lightweight champions Tony Ferguson (25-7 MMA, 15-5 UFC) and Li Jingliang (19-7 MMA, 11-5 UFC), in the welterweight partnership.
