'Uncoupled' Season 2 Filming 'On Hold' Due to Writers' Strike, Neil Patrick Harris Says

Comedy series Uncoupled is one of the latest TV shows influenced by Writers Strike .

Neil Patrick Harris who plays Michael in the episode, revealed on Friday’s episode of The View It was delayed for a second season. The Hollywood Reporter reported earlier this year that Showtime picked up the show after

Netflix canceled it after the first season.

“We were supposed to start filming in early July, but the writers strike is happening,” How I Met Your Mother cast says . “So, everything is on hold — come on, writers, strong writers.”

Harris did not confirm when production would resume, but added that “we’re just going to wait until [the writers Strike] over.”

He continued, “Hopefully we’ll be able to start filming in warmer weather. We shot season 1 in colder weather, like a dating show That way, you’re walking in Central Park and you like to shiver in the cold, which isn’t as much fun. [It’s] more fun in a tank top.”

Uncoupled Joined TV Shows and Movies’s run list was affected by the strike. The Writers Guild has been picketing since early May when the WGA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers failed to reach an agreement on contract negotiations.
