Not only have they re-introduced the ever-popular Toga and Shigaraki figures, but they’re also adding fan-favorite Dabi to their upcoming lineup. Each figure is approximately 1/8th scale and is made of PVC and ABS materials. Fans from all over the world have grown to love members of the League, thanks in no small part to their incredibly unique designs, all inspired by the tragic backstories that lead them on the road in the first place. followed the path of being labeled a villain. Not only are these scale figures incredibly detailed, but their overall performance speaks volumes for what makes these characters so memorable.

Toga and Shigaraki’s poses convey a confident aggression without being overly so. Toga holds the knife and has a dazed expression on her face, giving the impression that she’s not actually worried about anything. Thanks to various fabric swirls, her signature school uniform stands out despite not being terribly unique on its own. But what really made people notice this figure was Toga’s expression. The pronounced fangs combined with the carefully drawn, loving eyes make this character seem innocent and dangerous at the same time. Even subtler details, like the extra lines drawn at the bottom of her eyes, help mimic her signature glare. Very few characters in the show actually look alike, which is a nice, subtle capture of detail.

These It’s no surprise that figures are so popular, which is why Dabi’s upcoming works are more worth looking forward to. Kotobukiya‘s Dabi scale model captures both Toga and Shigaraki’s strengths, making him the perfect addition to the roster. Like Toga, his overall posture and demeanor are very casual, while exuding a sense of confidence, as if he appreciates the simple. Then the beautifully carved transparent blue flame in his left hand shows that he is also ready to burn things he doesn’t like at any time. In fact, with his right hand in his pocket and his back to his face, there was something unattainable about his demeanor. This fits perfectly with the character in the series, as Dabi is often seen as a threat, while also keeping his cards very close to the chest, even his own allies!

Dabi Iconic The burn marks ironically feel natural with a shade of purple that stands out without taking away from the rest of the design. Even adding individual lines and wrinkles to burnt skin makes everything look organic. It really feels like it’s well-crafted, demonstrating a solid understanding of what makes Dabi so appealing, even though much of his background has been kept in the dark for so long. Even seeing Dabi posing with his fellow league members feels completely natural, and all three are sure to look great in anyone’s showcase.

The signature hands associated with his character’s backstory seem to gently embrace his body as if to comfort him. You can see every wrinkle on each hand, giving them an organic feel, and Kotobukiya despite his simple attire, manages to Shigaraki adds a lot of dimension. Shigara’s hunched posture gives people a kind of deterrence, as if he can pounce on the enemy and rot them instantly. He is indeed a dangerous adversary worthy of being called the leader of the League of Villains, and the character emulates that impression well.
