USC adds first-team All-Pac-12 bettor Eddie Czaplicki transfers from ASU

The Trojans’ next transfer portal siege has begun…

USC added its first transfer of the cycle on Saturday as betting Runner/kicker Eddie Chaprich announced his commitment to USC after two years at Arizona State.

Czaplicki, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, started two seasons with the Sun Devils and was named No. 1 in the All-Pac-12 this year A first-team punter, as he averaged 46 yards per punt, was 75 yards long, 16 yards over 50 yards, landed inside the 20-yard line 15 times and caught 13 catches.

He handled 55 drives for an average of 61.6 yards per drive and 29 touchdowns.

USC initially signed Australian punter Atticus Bertrams in the last recruiting class, but for unknown reasons he was not included in the program. The Trojans then adjusted late, bringing in fellow Australian Aadyn Sleep-Dalton, who averaged just 40.27 yards on 30 punts, with just one punt over 50 yards, eight falls within 20 yards, and 14 catches .

The Trojans brought in 21 players from the Portal/JUCO ranks this past offseason.

So far, they’ve had five players in the door — fast ends Julien Simon and Tayler Katoa, linebacker Ralen Goforth, safety Xavion Alford and defensive tackle Kobe Pepe.
