Tecno is apparently working on something called the Arc Interface – an RGB light on the back of the phone that will light up when a new notification arrives. The “phone” here appears to be the Tecno Pova 5, although it’s possible it’s a different device.
Here’s Ishan Agarwal’s Arc demo showing the light strip blinking while powered:
EXCLUSIVE: Here’s what you’ll find at First look at #ArcInterface seen on the upcoming @TecnoMobileInd POVA series of smartphones.
@pova_mobile seems to have LED lights on the back for notifications and it works when the phone receives a call.
Looks cool 👀 Coming soon in India! pic.twitter.com/oghPc9FCo6

from demo Looking at the clip, the lighting lacks the fine-grained control that the Nothing Phone (2) had, but the Pova 5 is a low-end device. More elaborate versions can be created for more advanced Tecnos.

Pova 5 has a 6. 99” 45Hz IPS LCD (FHD+) and Powered by Helio G 99 chipset (up to 8/256GB RAM) and a large 6, mAh battery with 24W Wired – Charging only. This design is called “Turbo Mecha”.
BTW , the upcoming Tecno Pova Neo 3 also features a Mecha design, but we don’t know if that includes lights (note: the Neo 3 design doesn’t include the dotted pattern next to the camera island, which is why we think it’s the Pova 5). Pova 5 Will be released later this month.
