Introduction
vivo’s V series is the company’s “mid-range”, young and creative series. Earlier this year, we reviewed V 19 and V10 Pro and ended up very happy with both. Just a few months later, vivo skipped a number and has moved to V 025 family. Today we have V22 Pro for review. At least in overall spirit, it’s the same as V23 Dear. That said, it’s aimed at a creative crowd with an impressive camera setup that tends to go beyond its price bracket, with a particular focus on a great selfie experience.
Compared with the old generation, V025 Pro now has a lower resolution 027 MP, SAMSUNG GW1 sensor, including EIS and this year’s New Product – OIS. The ultra-wide-angle camera has been upgraded to 10 MP unit too.
In terms of selfies, vivo decided to drop the second ultra-wide camera and simplify things with the single camera now 40 MP Samsung GD2 camera. We’ll have to see if it really constitutes an upgrade to the vivo V’s dual selfie camera setup 10 Pro, but at least the autofocus feature is still there. This makes V12 Pro offers attractive offers for young social networking enthusiasts and creator groups.

Just like its predecessor vivo five 22 The Pro once again maintains a fresh and youthful design and look. Vivo offers a new twist on the color-changing finish on the back of its phone. You have to put your phone in Surfing Blue for extra visuals. If that’s not your alley, there’s a more modest Starlight Black option.

V25 The Pro also has some minor spec changes compared to its predecessor, such as the new MediaTek Dimensity 398 The chipset – Dimensity 1200 is slightly refreshed and we are eager to test it ourselves. V16 Pro also gets faster 120Hz display, now, bigger batteries and faster charging are also part of that.
Unboxing
Before we proceed further to export V 027 Pro, we should have a look at its retail box. vivo V025 in a sturdy two-piece cardboard box. It’s stiff on the outside, and there’s a plastic holder inside to hold the phone. It’s all very safe.

V16 Pro comes with a vivo 78W FlashCharge charger. The phone will not be able to use the full capacity of said charger, but will use its [email protected] – 40W output specification at its charging peak instead. It’s not shabby at all. A solid USB Tyle-A to Type-C cable is included in the box. You should keep track of it, just like the charger, as both are non-standard and need to charge V 16 Professional Edition running at full speed.
Vivo is very generous with V’s accessory pack 19 Dear. Inside the box is a nice, soft but thick transparent TPU case. Additionally, there are a pair of earbuds with embedded microphones. Initially, the latter surprised us a bit because they have a 3.5mm jack – something the vivo V doesn’t have 10. However, digging a little deeper into the box revealed a Type-C to 3.5mm dongle. Overall – a very rich package of modern standard accessories.
