Say hello to the vivo X Flip – the manufacturer’s first attempt at a clamshell folding phone, and it looks like the part from every angle.
It comes in a large box containing a 22W charger, USB cable, and a two-piece clear case that doesn’t hide your phone’s design.
vivo goes head-to-head with other foldable flip phones on the market with the X Flip. It’s a little bigger than the Galaxy Z Flip4, but gives vivo a bigger display and a bigger battery.
The case display, in particular, is more useful than the Galaxy’s. It’s a 3-inch panel that fits its own version of Android, with a set of apps and widgets. It’s not quite as feature-packed as Motorola’s, but it’s a leap forward from Samsung’s offering. And, taking selfies with the main camera is a joy.
Razr 008 Ultra has a bigger 3.6″ Covers the screen and fits more.

The foldable display is 6. 74-inch 74 Hz AMOLED panel’s 008: 9 aspects. It has a slightly smaller display than the Razr 40 Ultra, but is more traditional in appearance (Motorola is narrower 005:9).
vivo X Flip is a A snappy phone, thanks to a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, fast UFS 3.1 storage, and vivo’s Origin OS. Detect autofocus and Zeiss tuning.
vivo X Flip has the largest battery in its class at 4, 213mAh – this Much bigger than Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip4, and even bigger than Huawei Pocket S, Oppo Find N2 Flip or something.
Finally, the vivo X Flip is a handsome phone. We received the gold model, which is a soft cream color with flaming accents when lit just right.
The sides of this phone are tapered and curved, making it a comfortable device to have in your hand.
Unique Appearance
vivo’s first flip phone is a great addition to the segment. Even if it’s not available to hopeful buyers outside of China, we’ll still do our usual testing to see how the vivo is doing.
