During the second week of May, the Vogue Club flocks to the Upper East Side for its first ever night at the museum to celebrate the Costume Institute’s exhibition “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.” After the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art closed, Feast hosted an exclusive cocktail reception for Vogue Club members and a private viewing of the highly anticipated spring100 Costume Institute exhibition highlighting the late Lagerfeld Huge bodied
Vogue Club attendees walk up The Met’s famous staircase in their best evening attire. They were greeted with champagne at the party. In a grand hall adorned with blooming flowers by Raul Avila, guests enjoyed mingling with Vogue editors, handing out Olivier Cheng-prepared Canapés and an editor’s playlist of classic French Yé-yé and Chanson Française music. Upstairs, partygoers were escorted through a display of pieces, from sketches to Lagerfeld’s elaborate fashion pieces in Balmain, Patou, Chloé, Fendi and Chanel Taste. At the end of the night’s festivities, guests flooded the streets of Fifth Avenue to snap their last few photos and excitedly discuss their favorite Karl Lagerfeld pieces on display.
