In Miami, it is well known that the best parties are held at sea, not on land. So it only makes sense to drink a toast to Colombian designer Silvia Tcherassi’s latest project for Casa Del Sol — a megayacht.
After her stunning Pre-Fall debut, Tcherassi and her daughter Sofia (who is ready-to-wear director of her eponymous label) gathered a group of friends and fashionistas to chat with Vogue100 kicks off Art Basel’s festivities together. The guests, of course, wore colorful Silvia Tcherassi looks, some of which were straight out of the brand’s runway show at Coconut Grove the day before.
Upon arrival, caviar and Craft Casa Del Sol welcomes a lively crowd with cocktails. The Golden Hour mixed with orange zest is a refreshing treat, as is the blackberry-infused Mestiz Moment Tequila Cocktail, which pairs perfectly with a rich fruit platter. Mei Kwok, DJ and founder of Dune suncare, has curated an upbeat soundtrack for sunset evenings to keep the vibe high.
Casa Del Sol President Colbi Corbett chats with Grammy-winning artist Dante Bowe, while Laura Sachs and stylist Kristin Smith swap Basel party plans for the night. Although Miami is just heating up, the Casa Del Sol team is already planning their next pop-up in cooler destination Aspen!
