Warzone Titanium Trials: Tips, Best Weapons, Gear and More

As part of the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 reload, Activision has added a new limited-time mode called Titanium Trials. Related to the game’s Terminator operatives, the mode should evoke a sense of being a robot, giving players more armor than before, as well as countless other changes that set it apart from the regular battle royale mode.

But how exactly does the mode work, which weapons work best, and how does it play differently? Here’s what you need to know about Titanium Trials, with tips to stand out, and a list of recommended loadouts.

Overview of Titanium Trials Titanium Trials takes place in Caldera with a maximum player count of 152. In it, a team of four must try to be the last squad standing, just like regular BRs. However, the max health pool has been increased to a total of 400 (when fully plated), which means time to kill (TTK) has increased across the board. Health regeneration takes longer, all players come with self-healing kits, Tempered Perk appears more often, and loot pools have changed to match the Terminator theme. Also, Buy Stations cost more, but Loadouts cost less as the game progresses. What you get is a gritty-as-nails mode that rewards players equipped with large magazine sizes while punishing those who neglect to collect as much cash as possible throughout the game. The stakes are higher for Titanium Trials, so how should you approach the new mode?

Communication is more important than ever

Since enemies have higher health in this mode, you need to be in line with your teammates to ensure you Can destroy damaged opponents. Communication is of course important in normal BR mode, but you can run around like a headless chicken because TTK is so fast. But in Titanium Trials, describing the callout can be the difference between winning and losing. For example, if you know an enemy team is coming from a particular direction, you should ping in their direction and make a call such as “My [whatever color] ping on the enemy team.” Also, you should try to keep track of how many enemies you see, and how much damage you do to them. Telling your team that the enemy on the far right is dying can save you a lot of trouble.

Collect cash first

Regardless of the mode, cash is important, but since items are more expensive in Titanium Trials buy stations, you Will do everything possible to make money fast. In regular BR mode, you don’t need to complete a contract to get through, especially if you’re a skilled player. But in Titanium Trials, you need to aim to complete contracts with high bonuses, such as bounties or wanted criminals. You’ll be glad you did, especially if most of your team wipes and you need to buy them back. Once you and your team have decent weapons in hand, head straight to the nearest contract for a quick cash collection.

Use armor plates as soon as possible

Titanium Health in Trials works differently – not just in the amount of health, but in how it’s distributed. When at max health, 100 HP corresponds to your main health pool, while the remaining 300 is related to your armor. But since it takes longer to restore health in this mode, you’ll want to apply armor plates as quickly as you can, even in a shootout. Sometimes it’s easier said than done, but if you try to stay under cover and paint just one plate, your chances of survival increase. Also, having Tempered Perk is actually in Essential in this mode as it allows you to use only two boards instead of three for max armor. Keep all of this in mind in your various battles and try to choose the right moment to reapply the board.

High damage per magazine is key

Titanium trials are hard so you need to bring clips big enough to do it for success ready. You should limit your selection to only weapons with at least 40 rounds of magazines. Depending on the number of shots needed to ensure elimination with a particular weapon, you may use a particular gun more or less. Even high damage weapons like the OTs9 should be avoided as they only have a maximum capacity of 40 rounds. The same can be said for scars, which are limited to only 30 rounds. We’ll discuss specific weapon recommendations below, but be aware that how much ammo a weapon can carry will make a huge difference in Titanium Trials, so be prepared. BEST TITANIUM TRIAL LOAD DUE TO DAMAGE PER MAGAZINE IN THIS MODE Very important, so you need to have a large magazine that provides a fast TTK. While this tip is correct anyway, it’s even more important in Titanium Trials because the player’s health has increased a lot. It’s also worth noting that snipers can’t hit the head with a single shot (except for the buggy Type 99 snipers that will be fixed soon), making them harder to use. This doesn’t mean you should ignore them entirely, but most players will probably find that sticking with a low recoil automatic rifle with a lot of ammo will do the trick. Here, we’ll list the four configurations that work best in Titanium Trials — two for ranged and two for close range — along with recommended additional skills and gear. Many of the recommended builds reflect their non-titanium trial counterparts, with some minor tweaks here and there.

This add-on starts health regeneration as soon as the armor plate is ensured to be removed or applied. Next, High Vigilance is a great option for this mode, as it makes your screen jump when enemy players look at you. Normally, we’d recommend bringing Tempered, but since this Perk is fairly common as floor loot in Titanium Trials, you’ll likely be applying it to your character in a match anyway. As for slot 3, Amped is recommended, which provides faster weapon swaps. Combat Scouts are also a good option.

Throwing knives also work well, allowing you to throw them at downed opponents to complete them without wasting ammo. Finally, Stims are almost always recommended, especially in Titanium Trials. This is because they can be used to start health regeneration right away, even while you’re refueling.
