The Eagles won the coin toss and elected to defer, giving Washington the ball first. Curtis Samuel ripped off a 15-yard urge on the Commanders’ first play from scrimmage, momentarily quieting the qualified contingent of inexperienced-clad Eagles fans who made the shuttle to FedEx Self-discipline. Those fans made their presence felt three plays later, when Fletcher Cox and Josh Sweat blended to sack Carson Wentz and pressure a Washington punt. (Commanders 0, Eagles 0, 13: 08 left within the principle quarter)
BALL IS OUT!
