Tonight, VR fans – WWDC is expected to bring Apple’s long-awaited AR/VR headset. Will it be Cupertino’s “next big thing” like the Apple Watch? Or are unicorns only seen by a select few like the Mac Pro?

Even if you’re not using AR or VR, you might want to watch the livestream (embedded below). Apple traditionally rolls out the next major OS release for each of its product branches: iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS , tvOS 14 (and new HomePod software), and macOS 14 are all waiting to be released to the public and developers People show.

The star of the show (as far as software is concerned) will be xrOS, which will power Apple’s new headphones. The rumor mill doesn’t have much to say about other operating systems. We’ve heard a few things though, like iOS 14 which supposedly has the option to turn your phone into a smart home display, and it should also do a full overhaul of Control Center and Dynamics Reforming Island (although details are slim at the moment).

Perhaps the biggest change to iOS is the related EU regulations – Apple has to offer sideloaded apps and Third-party app stores open up its smartphones.

If you’re looking for a new computer, you should watch today’s event – ​​there’s talk Apple will launch the 14.5″ MacBook Air (with M2) , maybe the new Mac Studio will join it (still no Mac Pro though).
