WATCH: Live flares stop Rams Bills game

The Buffalo Bills weren’t the only ones setting off fireworks on the field Thursday night team.

  • The Los Angeles Rams start off Thursday night in disappointing fashion their title defense.

    Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen hand new-look world champion Rams to Rams in front of a national audience at SoFi The stadium’s first game of the season was a 31-10 loss.

    But while the Bills were producing due to their own offensive fireworks, an animal rights activist decided to use the opportunity to get in on the action. Then things got weird on the field.

    When the protesters were finally restrained, the torch finally stopped in the finish area.

    The Rams looked unstoppable at times, especially on defense, as the Bills put up a total of 413 yards. Allen had a day on the field with 292 passing yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions.

    Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford appears to miss Odell Beckham Jr., who is tearing his ACL in the Super Bowl, Currently a free agent.

    Wideout Cooper Kupp completed 13 passes for 128 yards and 1 touchdown, but he was the only Ram to successfully catch the ball. Stafford was flagged for three interceptions on the night as part of a four-fault game for Los Angeles.

    The Rams defense looked to miss linebacker Von Miller – now working with the Bills – as Miller matched the Rams’ combined sack with two on the night.

    Buffalo fired Stafford a total of seven times and put pressure on many others, which resulted in Stafford’s poor passing decisions.

    The Rams start the 2022 season with a loss, and an ugly one.

    Next Sunday in Los Angeles is the Atlanta Falcons from SoFi Stadium at 1:05pm PT.
