The Chicago Cubs host the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night in the opener of a three-game series. The Cubs return home after a nine-game road trip, and they’re just 2-7. The Cubs lost two of three games against the Brewers and Blue Jays before being swept by the Cardinals at the weekend. They have only scored four times in total in three games in St. Louis and have struggled for the past few weeks. The Reds are a little better, as they have won two of their last three series and are currently just two games behind the Cubs in the standings.

The Reds will field Justin on Tuesday night as their series opener Dunn came to the mound while fighting for victory. Dunn has started just five games this year and is 1-2 with a 4.63 ERA. In one start against the Cubs this season, he dropped five points in just two-thirds of the innings, but the Reds still won 8-5.
The Cubs will face off against Wade Miley, who will make his first start since ending a 60-day IL. Miley hasn’t pitched since leaving after three innings against the Yankees on June 10.
