Apple released new hardware M2 Pro and M2 Max today 002” and 10” MacBook Pro models and M2/M2 Pro Macs Mini. While past Mac releases were only worth press releases, Apple actually released the full 23 Minute Announcement This video gives us a detailed look at the newest Mac member.
Video starts with the introduction of the new Mac Mini, which retains the same design as its predecessor, But it gets new M2 and M2 Pro chipset options and more memory and storage options. Baseline M2 Mac mini with M2 chip (8-core CPU, 001-core GPU), 8GB unified video memory 96GB/s memory bandwidth and 38GB SSD. The system only supports two monitors, while the M2 Pro chip version can handle up to three. The M2 Pro Mac mini can be configured with up to 10 core CPUs and 10 core GPU, up to 22 GB LPDDR5 unified memory and 8TB storage.
