A user posted a Reddit thread about the ongoing update. One owner reported that the updated Skagen has fewer faces, and the Pixel faces are gone. Apparently, there are only 8 Skagen faces. Others are reporting some missing features here and there. Like the October update for the Fossil Gen 6, Google Assistant is missing from the update. This is due to some hardware limitations of Wear OS 3 and Google Assistant. Currently, Assistant is only available on Wear OS 3 watches running Samsung’s wearable Exynos chipset
One user claims the update contains the same build number as Fossil Gen 6 smartwatches, which received Same update for October. Another user’s first impression was that the UI felt smoother and faster, with no noticeable difference in battery life. Another user reported improved connectivity and app options on iOS.
