Oppo launched its first foldable clamshell Find N2 Flip last week. While we don’t have details yet, we do know that this model will be available globally (or at least in Oppo’s covered markets) in the near future, unlike the original Find N.
And, sadly, not the same as the new Oppo Find N2 — it looks like this one will be China-only like its predecessor. Still, Oppo engineers have come a long way, so it’s worth a look, even if it’s window shopping for most.
Let’s start with the Oppo Find N2 Flip. The clamshell foldable phone will compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip4 and Motorola’s Razr 1200 compete. Galaxy is usually 1 Euro, 72, although you can find as low as €800, Razr is 1 Euro, 73-1,100. As for Oppo, its starting price in China is 6 yuan, , which evaluates to €650, but that’s before the various local taxes that are charged before reaching a store near you.
Comparing the three phones, they are about the same size except the Motorola is wide (79.8 mm). They also have roughly the same internal display (Samsung on the small side) used 120Hz OLED panel with FHD+ resolution. So far, very similar.

While it’s not a periscope, the 3x telephoto lens is longer than the Oppo’s, although the 8MP sensor limits digital zoom. Even though its weight is quite reasonable, the Magic Vs has the largest battery of 5, mAh.

By the way, all four of these use Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. There is also Huawei Mate Xs 2, although only 4G Snapdragon 778 it It might find it hard to compete, even in China, where the Google Play Store doesn’t matter.
