Wes Bentley, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Craig Robinson to be Honored at 2023 SCAD Television Festival

Wes Bentley, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Craig Robinson and Sterlin Harjo will be honored at the

ceremony Savannah College of Art and Design Television Festival.

“This year, Buffy, Darryl and Jamie Dutton star in the greatest show on

TV: SCAD TVfest,” SCAD President and Founder Paula Wallace said in a statement. “Yes, American Teenage Scream Queen 180s (THE Sarah Michelle Gellar!), everyone loves Warehouse manager (THE Craig Robinson!) and star of TV’s hottest series (THE Wes Bentley of Yellowstone !) will be broadcasting live, sharing their TV secrets with SCAD students.”

Bentley to Receive Virtuoso Award, Gellar will receive the Icon Award, Robinson will receive the Spotlight Award, and Harjo will receive the Variety Showrunner Award. Throughout the festival, honorees will participate in screenings and panels discussing their long careers.

“There’s nothing better than seeing our students interact with some of the top personalities in television, including talent, showrunners, executives, and more,” SCAD TVfest Executive Director Christina Routhier said. “From our winners to the premieres of brand new TV shows, we’re really excited about this year’s lineup. A highlight for us is being able to show shows filmed in Georgia, as Atlanta has truly become America, the epicenter of television and film production .”

Additional highlights from the festival, now at 11 years, including cast and crew performances such as Accused , All American: Homecoming, American Born Chinese, Gotham Knights, Harlem, Fear the Walking Dead, The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Mightr, Reservation dog etc.

Entertainment Weekly, SCAD TVfest Media will present two Panel Partner: EW Presents Brave Warriors, featuring actors who play iconic roles and how they distinguish character from reality Live; and EW presents Bold School, a chat between industry pundits who share their life stories, How they find their voice and pay it forward.

Additional panel discussions will include conversations on casting, the rise of anime, finding representation, entertainment marketing and making pitch perfect, as well as the festival’s popular executive meet-and-greets panel.
