What We Do In The Shadows Season 5 trailer reveals Guillermo (ha Vigilen) did become a vampire because he always wanted to, or so he thought.
After the fourth season, Guillermo offered Derek (Chris Sandiford) money to make him immortal, the upcoming fifth season The trailer shows Derek carrying out his request and biting Guillermo’s neck. However, Guillermo doesn’t seem to be able to access his new abilities.
“I thought the shift would happen overnight but it’s been 16 days I can’t turn into a bat yet,” he said, while playing a shot of him jumping off the porch and saying “bat” like Laszlo (Matt Berry ) did, but nothing happened: he just hit the ground.
Laszlo later encouraged Guillermo to jump off the balcony of the house, causing Guillermo to fall to the ground.
“That’s how we all learn,” Laszlo said, while Guillermo could be heard screaming in the background.
Elsewhere, Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch), now grown up again, is running for Controller long. The trailer also offers a scene of Laszlo visiting the mall while Nandore (Kevon Novak) goes shopping on his own, trying to convince the cashier to accept his cut-out photo of Ryan Seacrest as a coupon.

Season 4 sees Colin Robinson reborn as a baby after his death at the end of season 3 aging rapidly. Although young Colin bonded with his surrogate father, Laszlo, once Colin was done aging, he told Laszlo that he couldn’t remember anything about them being together. In this past season, Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) runs a vampire nightclub, and Nandore brings his dead wife back to life, only to find her endless transformations unsatisfying for him .
