WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The White House said on Tuesday it was open to approving a debt ceiling hike by the end of the year in a “lame-duck” session of Congress following the election.
“It’s something we’re willing to accept,” White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said.
