If you watched last night’s episode of White Lotus, you’d know that Tanya McQuaid (Jennifer Coolidge) ) is really crazy. In the second season of the hit HBO series, a new cast of characters arrive at the White Lotus resort in Sicily, Italy. Well, a new guy other than Tanya we met last season. In this episode, Tanya and her husband, Greg (Jon Gries), rent a Vespa and swerve down a windy road when a bug flies straight into Tanya’s mouth while riding on the back seat. “It’s floating in there!” she screamed, coughing hilariously.
Their boisterous Vespa ride may be far from glamorous, but the ensemble Tanya wore – a printed silk dress with a matching hijab scarf and giant sunglasses – was fantastic . “I’m Monica Vitti,” she quipped about her summer outfit. Forget Taormina’s Greek Theater in Sicily: Tanya’s Sicilian Wardrobe is one of the season’s top attractions. Her old-money budget — used to buy wardrobes from luxury Italian designer labels — is part of a fashion dream.
