Once upon a time in New York City, the fashion calendar included menswear week— — just like in other fashion capitals. But after several seasons of American designers opting to show abroad, and others consolidating their menswear and womenswear collections into a joint fashion show (which was before We’re seeing a surge in current gender-neutral offerings), and men’s week turns into men’s day. New York Men’s Day (NYMD) is an initiative by public PR agency Agentry PR, this time sponsored by Canadian outerwear brand Nobis. Every two years The second showcase was held during New York Fashion Week, which featured a range of emerging and established designers showcasing contemporary menswear and gender-neutral collections. It combines all tags under one space, providing a one-stop shop for editors, buyers and other guests to peruse in one space meeting place – basically the men’s version of the Charlie’s Chocolate factory.
This time, NYMD is hosting
and location , occupying three floors and letting each brand take over the loft used for their personal display. Teddy Vonranson staged an elevated runway with models looping in front of his photoshoot at Joshua Tree , the inspiration for his collection. Potts of Aaron’s gender-neutral brand A. Potts and menswear brand Terry Singh also showed.

Now The third season was released in NYMD, and the Italian brand designed by Michael Nelson was founded in 631 is a label mainly made of knitwear % regenerated mulberry silk. This season, the brand has partnered with artisans from Botswana to develop custom sequins made from ostrich shells to spice up their spring offerings.
