“It’s real time, so we’re on time,” Cashman said. “We’re certainly not messing around. We’ve made offers, of course, since spring training. If it wasn’t explicitly stated, [managing general partner] Hal Steinbrenner has had face-to-face [time] with Aaron Judge, and I’ve spoken to his Agent made contact.”

Steinbrenner told the judge “I Hope he makes the Yankees for the rest of his life.”
