According to According to reports, WWE is planning to hold NXT vs. NXT UK Supershow on September 4, the same day as AEW’s All Out pay-per-view.
According to Wrestling Watch Radio ‘s Brian Alvarez (h/ Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News), WWE sent promotional material to some fans indicating that the NXT premium live event will take place on September 4th, NXT and NXT UK brand.
Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston (h/t WrestlingInc’s Sai Mohan) initially reported that the NXT event will be held on the same day as All Out , although NXT UK could be tied – in no mention at the time.
On Tuesday’s NXT show, the NXT vs NXT UK match seemed to lay the groundwork as NXT UK stars such as Gallus, Blair Davenport and NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate appeared on the show.
Gallus attacked Diamond Mine and charged NXT UK Tag Team Champion Josh Briggs with Brooks Janssen, Davenport backstage with Indi Hartwell faced off, and Bate faced off in the ring with NXT champion Bron Breakker after Breakker defeated JD McDonagh in the Main Event.
If the NXT vs. NXT UK show happens, it will be since the 2020 WWE Worlds Collide took place on the same weekend as the Royal Rumble The first such performance.
In that show, NXT and NXT UK wrestlers took part in a battle for supremacy, with Imperium vs.​​​​ Undisputed Era is the title.
