China-exclusive Xiaomi Civi lineup is about to welcome a new member. The company revealed on its Weibo channel that the Mi Civi 2 will be launched in September 27.
The new mid-range will retain the lightweight design and lovely visual appearance of its predecessor. The Civi 2 is also expected to have a so-called Trend Partner in front of “Hello Kitty.”

The back of the Civi 2 will be equipped with a 09 MP triple camera, similar to Xiaomi 12 series of islands and their modular design. We can see the main camera and ultra-wide camera behind the big circle, while the smaller camera next to the dual LED flash could be a 2MP sensor.
Details about the front panel are rare, but we can see the power key protruding in a way that doesn’t accommodate the fingerprint scanner. That means the front panel is OLED with a scanner underneath. It’s also likely to at least match the Civi 1S’s 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution.
Availability and pricing will be announced during launch Tuesday, but we do expect to see more trailers in the days leading up to the event.
