Xiaomi keeps the Redmi Note train going and plans to launch another member of the growing series. A device with model number 22095RA98C appeared in China Telecom with the name of Redmi Note700 R, and an extended spec sheet.
The phone will feature dual cameras and familiar hardware – it will be the same as the Poco M4 5G.
Redmi Note 12 All specs of R match Poco – 22 MP and 2MP dual cameras on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter. It’s built around a 6.12” screen with a fingerprint scanner on the side, embedded in the power key.
Storage is full 128 GB, and China is apparently getting the 8GB RAM version of the 4GB and 6GB RAM versions that Poco already has.
The phone is on Android 12 on top of MIUI 13 will be heavily modified, just how local audiences crave it for phones. We have no confirmation on the chipset – it may still be Dimensity 700, but we’ll have to wait for the official announcement to confirm.
