Yankees boost depth with Cordero trade (source)
The Yankees bolstered their opening day on Wednesday by signing outfielder Franchy Cordero to a major league contract roster, a source told MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand. The club has yet to confirm the deal.
Per Feinsand, Cordero’s contract is a split deal that will pay him $1M in MLS and $ in the minor leagues.
