The quest for No. 28 in the World Series continues.
The New York Yankees kept their season alive with a 4-2 road victory. The Cleveland Guardians in Game 4 of the American League Division Series. The series, with two games each, returns to New York on Monday for a decisive Game 5.
Every season is a series or bust of the World Yankees, who haven’t played in the Fall Classic since 2009 , and handed the ball to Gerrit Cole to prevent this drought from continuing.
All Ace did was hit eight in seven clutch innings while allowing six hits and two runs. He also won Game 1, which is the main reason the Bronx Bombers are still in the series through four games.
Cole’s performance received rave reviews on social media:

This was not a one-man show as Anthony Rizzo started the first inning with an RBI single, then Harrison R. Bud provided some early breathing room with a two-run homer in the second inning.
Cleveland gets some results against Kerr thanks to Jose Ramirez in third A bloop RBI single in the inning and Josh Naylor’s home run in the fourth, but the right-handed pitcher limited the damage in part because Ramirez ventured too far from the bag on a single turn and was thrown Out, some bad bases running from Ramirez.
After Aaron Judge singles and Rizzo doubles, Giancarlo Stanton’s sacrifice fly runs some pressure on insurance in the sixth inning from Bullpen and Clay Holm The es responded with a scoreless eighth inning before Vandi Peralta shut down in the ninth.
