Former Liverpool and Real Madrid winger Steve McManaman has backed Reds boss Jurgen Klopp to make the right decision against young players.
As we all know, Liverpool are currently battling injuries throughout the team, which will undoubtedly have a negative impact on the team. Nothing is more important than the injury crisis in midfield.

So with it it looks like Liverpool are spending a fortune to bring in another midfielder this summer. With the odds getting less and less likely, it’s no surprise that Klopp has to turn to youngsters. That’s a positive, according to McManaman.

“But definitely, you have older players and you need to refresh the team all the time. You need to have young people to advance,” Added McManaman.
“That’s all you need. You need a combination of experience and youth to start replacing each other in due time.
