Former Liverpool and Real Madrid winger Steve McManaman has backed Reds boss Jurgen Klopp to make the right decision against young players.
As we all know, Liverpool are currently battling injuries throughout the team, which will undoubtedly have a negative impact on the team. Nothing is more important than the injury crisis in midfield.
“But definitely, you have older players and you need to refresh the team all the time. You need to have young people to advance,” Added McManaman.
“The European champion Real Madrid has three youngest Long midfielders (Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro) but behind them are Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelian Chu Armeni.
“That’s all you need. You need a combination of experience and youth to start replacing each other in due time.
