Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet realize that love and romance in the future universe is slightly different from Earth.

Celebrity NarrationVanity Fair, in an interview posted online Thursday, after filming Dune:Second Part with Chalamet, “It was fun trying to figure out in this futuristic space talk, like, how did they flirt?”
She said it was difficult at first to deal with the relationship between the space warrior and the young duke of the planet. Zendaya added that it was actually “fun because we were all stumped. I think it was as foreign to us as it was to the characters.”
Finally , they finally accepted the “awkward and uncomfortable” nature of it all. “I was like, is Chani going to be awkward?” the Spider-Man: Homecoming actress said. “Will this happen to her? Does she know what it’s like?”
But while filming romantic scenes in the remote deserts of Abu Dhabi and Jordan, Zendaya said it was like ” Ticking Timer” attempted to capture each day’s shots during the hour of sunset’s peak, known in the industry as golden hour.
“You kind of feel like, okay, we got here, but we have maybe an hour to get this done. So we revisit it every day, and after a few days, we’re There are hours,” she explained. “Every time we revisit it, we sleep on it and think about it and come up with a new set of ideas.”

“I think the one thing we can all relate to is love,” Zendaya added. “These characters really live on another planet, right? They’re aliens. It’s fun to find these moments of tenderness amidst all the chaos and chaos.”

. It follows the mythical journey of Paul Atreides (Chalamet), who joins forces with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen to take revenge on the conspirators who destroyed his family. Paul will find himself forced to choose between love and the fate of an unknown universe, trying to prevent a dire future that only he can foresee.
Earlier this week, The Hollywood Reporter was at CinemaCon, where Chalamet and Zendaya have released a new trailer for the sequel with Villeneuve. Before the show, the director said, “ the first is more of a meditative film. Part two is an action-packed epic war movie. It’s denser. We went to all the new locations. I didn’t want the feeling of repetition. It was all new sets. Everything was new.”
Dune: Part Two is set to premiere in theaters by Nov. 3.
